Error Restoring License

I'm getting an error when attempting to restore a license file that's less than 14 days old, using Vista (32 bit) with all the latest updates.

The error says something to the affect that it can't open the registry because I do not have administrator privileges, when in fact I do (single administrator account).

It's the last version 12 release (xx.530, I believe).

No idea what the problem could be, if the error message is correct.

Try rebooting.

Check your system date.

Virus checker? 

Vista UAC?
