Media Jukebox 8 works with a version 7 license but not with older licenses.

What do you mean!!!  I paid for a registered product I wan t a registerd product...  If you're trying to say that I shouldn't have upgraded to 8.0, well that's not too fair, because you had the option right in the menu and it said nothing.  Then I rebooted windows, lost the licence file and you're telling me that I don't own it any more?

wahhhhhhh

Did you not have a Version 5 or 6?

If you have your MediaJukebox Program Install File you Downloaded Some 2 Years Ago you can always go back to your old version and register it with your registration file you were given and should have saved to a floppy.

If you do not have the install file For MJ5 you might find it on the internet someplace. J River Does Not Keep Old Outdated Versions Of MJ On The Server.

New versions Of MJ require A New License

I Hope This Clear Things Up For You

Okay let me get this straight... because I upgraded (and my licence worked on ver 8 before I reinstalled windows); And I was not told upon upgrading that my licence would be void, you are telling me that I have to a) find an old ver on the interenet (where?) or be screwed.  I don't think that's hardley fair...  I don't even know if I had ver 6, maybe it was seven.  NEway, can't someone just look up my account based on my address or credit card or anything?? can someone (from the company)please email me so I can give them my phone # and we can work this out???

I work at JRiver.  We don't archive old versions.  I'm sorry.

The reason is that life is already really complicated here.  We can't support version 6, 7, and 8 on top of that.  Plus the database for 8 is different, so going back to 7 can create additional problems.

It's real, Jacob.  You're asking for something we aren't going to do.
