before i even THINK about buying it (aka "cover art")
« on: August 15, 2009, 03:16:01 pm »

i can't get it to display cover art at all. i go through tools -> cover art -> get from internet then select the right one and it STILL doesn't display it. i have the "now playing" window set to where cover art is checked but it's still blank.
funny cuz when it imported my mp3 library it got all the relevant art work (or just what WMP left behind) but can't display it for a single cd.
then, if i CAN get it to work, is there a way to set it to retrieve the cover art automatically or will i have to go through the same cumbersome process every time?

answered my own question... ejected and re-inserted the disc.

Your first message was at 1:16 and you are giving up 1:34.  Have a bit of patience.

Cover art for ripped files:
Look at Tools/Options/CD & DVD.  Check "Get cover art from the internet after ripping".

Cover art for imported files:

and in Tools/Options/Libraries & Folders, check "Get cover art" to retrieve cover art when you import files.

Cover art for CDs you are playing:

I don't play CDs directly from MC. Perhaps someone else can answer that part.
