I also wonder how I can get changes i make on my portable to sync back to my main library.

i have a thumb drive that i listen to at work and make changes mainly to the comments field, but may also correct a name or change a rating, and want those changes to populate back to the main library/original files.

Is this still possible?

PS:  I'm still using MC 13, but found no posts related to this on that board.

Well, Jim seems to have removed all the previous discussion of this and closed the original thread, so I can't find any solutions or answers.

Is there any way to have MC read changes made on a portable device?

I want to take a subset of my music with me, make tagging changes on the protable and have those changes update back to the original files in MC.  This used to work, but now I can't see any to make it happen.

Is this simply no longer available, or can someone explain to me how to do it?
