Album Art Query

lately Media Center is adding incorrect artwork to all new music i add without artwork. it is artwork for Klaus Schulze "Jubilee Edition" -  any suggestions??

also i am getting very frequent crashes when tagging [ i.e. adding artwork etc.]
should i uninstall ?

I've noticed that this happens when songs without artwork are put into the same directory with a file that does have artwork. I think it's a product of the way artwork is assigned/tracked. I've not experienced this symptom with any other case.

Was it at any point in time? The album art will "stick" with the file (if you save the album art to the id3/vorbis/whatever tags).
If not, I'm at a loss and you'll need the help of somebody more knowledgeable.

If you have audio files in a directory with a single artwork file, MC will use that artwork.  Remove the file and embed what you want in the tag or name them appropriately or let MC get artwork from the Internet.

There are a lot of threads about cover art.  Alex B posted a link to some of his old posts a day or two ago.  The Wiki also covers it.
