.ts files gets imported as data
« on: September 28, 2009, 09:01:48 pm »

Hi!

Whenever I import a .ts video file, it gets imported as data, and I have to change the media type to video before I can play it. As soon as I change the media type it plays fine.

How come MC doesn't recognize my .ts files as video? I've tried several independent .ts files with the same result.

I used to have the same problem, and after changing media type to video on my last batch, I stopped using the .TS format altogether. I did report the bug, I think, but it was back in the MC13 days.

It works ok here. Do the files play ok in Media Center? Maybe it's a codec thing? I use Cyberlink codecs for .ts playback just in case that helps.
