Video playback options in Windows 7 (Theatre View)
« on: July 12, 2009, 10:21:42 am »

Is there a way to bring back the brightness, contrast, hue and saturation setting
while playing back a video file in Theatre view in Windows 7. those options are available in XP.

It is likely that MC uses EVR on Windows 7 by default.  EVR works well on Vista, and should works as well on Windows 7 though there may be new issues.  I did see sometimes on XP that color controls were not available when EVR was used.  You can try VMR9 and see if  it works better.

This could also be due to the new built-in decoder in Windows 7, which steals decoding duties for all MPEG-4 content (including XviD).   :-\
