missing org. tree items??
« on: July 05, 2002, 05:22:28 pm »

I'm using V 8.0.318.

Are there differences between the online user guide and the in-program help files?

I ask because the user guide says: To locate files, click "Find Music" in the Organization Tree and then select "Media Files" at the top of the Content View. Now check Title, Artist, Album, Genre, Type, Location or Bitrate, depending on what you are searching for.

I don't have "find music" in the org. tree. So I don't have tabs for media files or web tv/radio. (Also, the sentence that says check title, artist etc. sounds a lot like V7.)

I also don't have "web music" in the org. tree as the user guide talks about, and I can't find a way to call up the equivalent of the V7 page that had emusic etc links.

Am I doing something really stupidly wrong?

Find Music is under the View menu now.  Also try a control F.  It's also there on the Media Library view (at the top).

The Help in MJ is more current.
