DVD only plays 5 minutes !!

How come ? I have purchased the 24 $ version 8. I feel a bit ... robbed !

There is no 5 minute limit for DVD playback in MJ.

What happens if you use the DVD player that came with your drive?

How about contacting the DVD maker for it?

sometimes they will send a replacement disk for a small fee.

or also sometimes it is free for download on the home page of the DVD company.

I've had a similar problem. I have the DVD playing on full screen and after 5-10 minutes the DVD stops playing and there is a black screen. I can use PowerDVD just fine, but I prefer MJ because it plays better at full screen. I have noticed that some of the times that I leave my computer sit for 5 or 10 minutes, it will start playing again. I haven't been able to figure out why and when this happens. It hasn't been consistent. Sometimes the same DVD will lock up and other times it plays fine.
