Displaying Album Artwork -- MJ Gets Lost
« on: July 05, 2002, 09:57:36 am »

One of the nice features of MJ is the display of ID3v2 tags with album artwork.  MJ also has useful option to store the album covers in the (MP3) file when you find them.  When you play a Playlist the album cover displays.

But I ran into a little problem with the display:  If you double click from one track to another (instead of letting MJ play out the currrent track and going to the next), the display will hold onto the art from the previous track even though the track info is for the new track.  It's like the artwork (only) gets stuck.  Anyone know how to fix this?

I Just Tested this

I don't see that problem

but i do not have any Id3v2 tags, and do not have the cover art stored inside the mp3, it is all stored local on the hard drive.

Listening to: '(Da Le) Yaleo' from 'Supernatural' by 'Santana' on Media Jukebox

I prefer the slide show plugin you get many pictures of the artist.

I made a visualization displaying album art which is perfect in mini me...
but it does erase the prior image when going to the next track

so if the next song's album cover is smaller, it will not fill the whole box and i will see part of the previosu cover

I wonder if it could also maybe be a video card\video driver problem.
