MJ doesn't remember the track names on the burned CD's

Unlike the Media Player XP, MJ doesn't remember the track names of the CD's which were burned by itself. Is there a solution to this problem?

I take it your burning an audio cd-rom, and track names are not burned to the cd-r.

now some drives support CD-text, and if mj is not using the generic driver, CD-text should be saved to the drive.

your drive would need to be CD-text compatable.

on audio cd's music files are saved using the names Track01, track02 etc....

if you submit the info to cddb, within 24-48 hours this info may be aval for mj to read from there data base.

What version are you using?  You should see track names in version 8.0.

True with MJ8, and you should see all the cd names under

"Media Library" and under "CD and DVD Media"

if your using an early beta 8 upgrade, 8.0.318 is the current version.

I'm using new version.
I newly upgraded my burner. It can write CD-text. Now MJ shows just the CD-text no other information is remembered!!

So are the track names being remembered (with CD-Text)?

But that is not a plus for MJ, because if there is any CD-text information on the CD you can retrieve it with the other players.

I think Windows Media Player for XP is superior on this subject. Because it can remember all the tagging information of the tracks on the burned music CD's (if it was written by itself) .

And I want this facility in MJ !!

I think we can do it but it will have to be the next MJ version.
