  • LIFE IS A RADIO... CRANK IT UP TO 11!

in the market for new smartphone\ Android... anyone using the HTC touch HD to control JRiver, or similiar device? is it possible?
Can one use this cell to sync to jriver library with xp tunes to be able to listen to my library while on the road? or wifi for around the house playing back on the HTC?
is this all possible with smartphones and android phones?

Any suggestions would be helpfull. cause i'd liek to be able to accomplish controlling my theater with cell phone, and also be able to login to server on the road and listen to songs.

I've a HTC Touch HD and these things are all possible:
1) Sync - I use JR to syc / transcode music to this phone's SD card just fine
2) WiFi Browse - WinMo devices don't have the ability to browse networks by default.  I just tested the "Network Plug In" CAB from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=423325 and it allows you to browse and map network folders into the Std WinMo File Explorer.  You can then browse and play media perfectly
3) Controlling MC - Try the HTTP Remote Control (I've not tried it but it should work fine).

Thanks
