I recently moved quite a few MP3 files from one computer to another and then created a completely new library. I had no MediaCenter problems prior to the move, but now when MC closes, it sometimes reports an error. The error basically says that some of the files could not be found, and it names the files and paths.

When I look in the specified folder, the files are indeed present. They are also listed in the MC window, and they play fine. I tried re-importing them but the import did not import any files. Where should I begin looking for the problem?

MC has an import option to ignore files previously deleted. Make sure it is unchecked.
