This is the best Jukebox out there, bar none. I also just got a new computer with XP. Every time I pop in a new CD to rip, Windows Media Player pops up. Can anybody tell me how to stop that, and have MJ open?

Within MJ, go to settings/options/file associations; make sure ASSOCIATE WITH AUDIO CDs is checked.

Listening to: 'Old Siam, Sir' from 'Last Flight - The Complete 1979 Glasgow Concert (Disc 1)' by 'Paul McCartney/Wings' on Media Jukebox

It didn't work....I alsi checked all the boxes in the file associations area, and Windows Media Player still pops up when I put in a cd. I also tried both my cd player and my cd-rw...

try this - no guarantees but I think it should work:

open My Computer / Tools / Folder Options / File Types
click on AudioCD and then the Advanced button
Use the Edit button and change the Play action to read: "C:\Program Files\J River\Media Jukebox\Media Jukebox.exe"  /AudioCD "%L"

Make sure this points to your installation of MJ
