"Click" sound at the beginning of tracks
« on: December 11, 2009, 04:51:51 pm »

There seems to be a click or popping noise when I start playing a new track in MC that isn't prevalent in foobar2000. It only happens when Directsound is used for the output device and is fine with Wave Out. I have a Chaintech AV-710 soundcard that doesn't support WASAPI in Windows 7. I've changed the buffer and it has had no effect. I'm trying to get bit-perfect playback, so this is a problem when using Wave Out.

Fixed it within 5 minutes. Sorry guys.

I changed the output in DSP studio to 96Khz to match the Hi-Def output on the Wolfson jack on the AV-710.
