I just upgraded to 14.  I have a 30 GB video iPod.  When i connected it, it said the "drive needed to be formatted" the iPod was previously loaded using iTunes.  So i clicked yes, reformatted it and then loaded it up with music from my PC.

Now when I plug the iPod in jriver show all the music. 
But when I unplug it i get a :
"connect to your computer use itunes to restore" error message (black letters on a white background)

I can;t get past the screen, i don't want to use iTunes.  Does anyone know what the issue is?  I am going nuts with no iPod.
