Cannot register JRiver Mediacenter 14 on windows 7 64 bit
« on: January 04, 2010, 05:59:25 pm »

I just purchased JMC14 and installed it on windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. I paid via pay pal and received a registration code and tried to register but noting has happened. I saved the mjr file and tried to register via help-install licence-restore licence from file. When i do this a small window appears and says that the licence was succesfully istalled. I click ok and another small window appears that says that an unknown error has happened. I press ok but when i look in the registration info the Jrivermediacenter is still unregistered. I have already uninstalled and installed again the program but the problem is still there. Some times when i try to open the Mediacenter a small window says that jriver was installed in a different operating system and suggests me to reinstall. I don't know what to do. Please help.

When you purchase with Paypal, the license is installed automatically.

Your license record on our server showed 31 installs.  It's now invalid.

My guess is that some security software running on your PC is causing problems.  I'll send you an e-mail.
