How to get "Convert unsupported formats" to work
« on: January 06, 2010, 06:13:26 pm »

Hi,

I have large collection of music containing a mix of mp3, wma, flac & ape files.  I want my son to be able to select files to copy to his computer using a usb drive but to have any flac or ape files converted to wma.

I've done the following:
 1. Defined a device called "Andrew's Nano"
 2. Set Options/Audio/Mode to Convert unsuported formats
 3. Set Options/Files & Paths/Suported Types to "*.wma; *.mp3" (also tried "wma; mp3")

In either case mp3 files are still being converted to wma during transfer.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance,
Vlad

I think you're close.  Try:
wma;mp3

It's possible the spaces are confusing it.  And the program should be made smarter if this was the problem.
