Stuttering/repeating problems with win 7
« on: January 16, 2010, 09:04:00 pm »

I downloaded MC14 to use on my new Win 7 Zotac ION HTPC that I built. I keep having stuttering/repeating issues where the title bar states "Buffering". I have tried the HDMI output (using NVIDA's driver) and using the optical output (Realtek's driver) with the same results. BTW I am using WASAPI as the output format and the FLAC files are stored  on a NAS. I have tried uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling twice with the same result. I have also tried running out of RAM and still having the same issue, even in the middle of a song. I really like the soung of MC14, but I can see buying a product that can't play several songs in a row without having stuttering problems. I do not have the issue with Mediamonkey
I need help.
thx,
Mike

Try playing a local file.  The NAS could be slow.

Virus checkers can also cause problems like that.

It isn't the program that is slow.
