Today I updated tags from library for my entire library.

Over time I have changed what gets saved to the tag so i thought it was time to have some consistency in the tags.

In particular i used to save Last Played and number of plays to the tag. I no longer have MC set up to save those fields to the tag.

However when i updated tags from library MC does not remove the old information  (from when i saved these fields in the tag with MC) from the tag.

Problem is that the tag is now incorrect as it still has a value for number plays, last played etc but these values are now out of date.

If i now update library from tags it overwrites the current library info with the outdated info in the tag.

Shouldn't MC be removing tag values for fields no longer saved in the tag?
