Trilyan:

the plugins, however, seem to amlfunction a bit, if anyone feels like helping me, follow me to my post http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=56019.0

JimH and Matt;
I deleted the "JRiver" folder in C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files
and turned UAC back on.
Now everything seems to work fine. No more "Options.xml" or "database read-only" errors and I don't have to run MC as administrator.
Now I'm a happy camper.
Maybe you could check for a JRiver folder in the "virtual store" during MC uninstall and delete it if it exists?
Thanks
Randall

Thanks for the hard work, we also found the JRiver map in VirtualStore, after removing the problem was solved.
We also used at first a "bad" version :-[ , but now we walk the legal line as everybody should do, who uses this great program. :)
Keep up the great work!!!

In case anyone wonders, in some languages a word that is identical to or not very different from the English word "map" means "folder".

Thank you. I think you're the first to say so. Welcome to Interact and welcome in from the Cold.
