Frequent errors--MJ needs to close

I am new to MJ--running v. 8.0.293 on P4@1.7Ghz/256MBRam/Windows XP.

I formerly used Winamp as my player and have tried a number of others. I like the sound of MJ despite the incredibly confusing array of "features."

Now as I've begun to explore and learn these features, many of which seem like good ideas, I find the application frequently crashing--recently trying to edit tags in the properties menu--just now accessing artist's history on the AMG link?

Is there a likely source of conflict? Is the program buggy? What do you suggest?

Reboot and then try a reinstall.

The AMG crash suggests a problem with Internet Explorer.

Jim,

Thanks for quick reply. I uninstalled MJ. Tried to download new version from your site. "Download" took me to www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/register/register.pl where I waited interminably at a blank screen.

I can get this kind of aggravation for free. What now?
