Hey guys I have a strange problem I have a 6000+ file music collection consisting of 16bit 44.1 2 channel flacs and 24 bit 96kHz 6 channel flacs (dvd-a And Sacd Rips)My archos device will play the 16 bit 44.1 no problem but not the multichannel 24bit flacs. I have searched in the device sync rules but I cant find any rule to tell jriver to convert those files to 2 channel 44.1 flacs. Is there anyway to do what I want? I don't want to have to keep a separate folder of those files manually converted as it takes up disk space and would be combersome to manage. After fooling around some more I notice that any conversion I try does not maintain the file name, Is there a problem with jriver being able to send the file names to the encoder all converted files are named .flac.
