Volume control fails, audiophile 24/96
« on: February 25, 2010, 12:11:41 pm »

The volume control in the MC doesn't react, probably due the fact that I use the audiophile 24/96 sound card of m-audio.

In some audio players volume can be controlled, nonetheless, in others not. For instance, jetaudio or spideplayer do react as well as windows Media Player.

Is there a simple measure to get it on?

I'm not so familiar with the MC, may be it is an easy task. Since the sound I get from this player is the best one I experienced by now I would like to continue with the JRiver MC.

I have the same card.  It's a nice piece.  It doesn't expose a system volume, at least on Windows 7.

So inside Media Center, click the little speaker next to the volume slider and select "Internal Volume".  This is also available from the Player menu.

Thank you very much.

My suspicion was, it should be a little thing to get it. And it was.

By the way: Does the HELP contain a respective hint?
