i fooled around a bit and came up with this.



its only for the stars, i just hope when people want to give it a shot and come up with something that looks good they want to share it.
here is how it can be included in the Theater View skin you use.
go to
C:\Programs\J River\Media Center 14\Skins\Theater View
make a copy of the skin you use and rename it.
go into the folder of the new skin and open the main.xml with notepad.
add at the end but before the /mjfs

   <PLAYERCONTROLS>
      <PositionHandle Bitmap="Display\PositionHandle.png" />
      <StarFilled Bitmap="Display\StarFilled.png" />
      <StarUnfilled Bitmap="Display\StarUnfilled.png" />
   </PLAYERCONTROLS>

close notepad.
make a new folder besides the main.xml and call it: Display
open the folder and copy the files from the attached zipfile (you must be logged in) into this new folder.

that should work..when not, please post..

U have made the icons?(i don't know why but the icons remember me you're cycle on your standard skin^^)

nah.. i made the cycle but these are just cleaned up version of the traffic lights they had and still have in eastern germany. actually a tourist thing in berlin. when you mean the player bar when in fullscreen. you can skin that, but its part of the standard view, not thv. and skinning for standard view is fun, there is a lot possible, skinning in thv is easier but a bit like the hedgehogs..

oh yes you can.. i changed the pearl in a small pacman this morning 
its the PositionHandle from my first post, i did include the original pearl in the zip...

Oh yeah these guys are so cute on my HD screen i really love them PERFECT !
But i haven't the pacman & the pearl too oO.
I have lost my pearl
But i have seen a new version of MC in the forum maybe it 'll solve the problem^^

Ok the Positionnal handle is missing in the zip.
So i have copied and mirrored you're berlin guy and it's funny^^
( i have noticed that he 's less big than the one used for rating;so i have atempted to resize it , but the zoom don't work no matter what size i use .
Anyway he looks great i have recoloured it a little in Orange colour.Ican't post a screenshot of it cauz imageshack have probleme at this time.

yeah it is..  it was in the first zip, im sorry. when im enthousiastic i get sloppy.  you can copy it from Skins\Theater View\Shared\PlayerControls.

nah.. i just live close. but im from amsterdam, in my heart im still there.. but the traffic lights are funny here. actually when you are in berlin it shows you if you are in the old west or east berlin.. it are the foreigners like me who think its interesting..

and resizing does indeed not work. i tried my bike instead of the pearls and it to much pixs for to less space, it did not works. the pac pearl did though.

Ok it's because of the first skin you've made about house of Doctor (don't remember the name) i was thinking u were german:) and about this good old amplifier u have shown in a post about photos...(When u said that u have two of them:)
you're not so far from me (i live in Jura from France)i have already go in holland to Mastricht i like this country alot!
Thanks for the new zip i 'll check it tonight.
And about the zoom it's annoying cause i have try to put a devil face for the pearl but it's really too tiny:/

For the rate size is ok but no move
