Winamp AND VLC player? no MC14?
« on: March 09, 2010, 12:12:54 am »

Winamp is free
VLC player is free
MC14 is $50.
Yet the two FREE programs have apps that control them over Android.
When are we, people who pay, going to get an app that lets us control/sync our phones?
I would also throw a few bucks for this...as i have said many times before.

I would rather pay for a good media center than to control crappy apps from a distance. You do have the Web interface that you can use today. Better ones can be found and installed. iPhone have a remote app that's supposed to work really well.

I hope and believe that there will be improvements in this field in the future though.

I guess you can argue in a similar manner for any feature that's missing in any application.

But I'll bet you that there are DLNA/Upnp controllers for android OS phones. Would http://www.andromote.de/ do?
