Monkey Audio Version Problem

I am using MJ to encode CD's using the Monkey Audio ecncoder which should be version 3.96 according to the Monkey Audio web site.  However, MJ is setting the version to 3.97 in the resulting music files and when the files are played in Winamp, a version mismatch error is generated.  Could this be corrected please?

Don't use Winamp ;)

Media Jukebox has newer (and better) APE support than any other program.

An updated Winamp plugin for APE files will be available eventually, but Media Jukebox is definitely the way to go.
