I have not been able to install any version past 8.0.302.  Did you guys do something to bring this ugly thing back?  HELP!!!!

When I click on close (In the error box), it closes, but the image stays on my desktop untill I hit refresh.  Also, after this happens, My pull down menu's are not visible until I run the mouse over them.  I'm afraid that if I uninstall MJ, I won't be able to reinstall any version.  That was the case last time this happenned.  I had to reinstall windows to get back up.  I hope I don't have to go this route again.

Darn!!!  This really is not good!

Matt tells me the new version can use the "Album Artist" field for directory conventions, and I can't install it!  :-(

I really hope someone can help me get this thing installed.  I've try everything but reinstalling windows.

Back up your license (only if you have 7.2).

Uninstall.  Reboot.  Install the full (9MB) version.

If that doesn't work, something is wrong with Windows.  

There was a thread on installing plugins from a couple days ago that has some clues.

I was hoping for a fifferent answer, but I'll try... I'm just afraid that if I uninstall MJ.  I'll have problems getting it re-installed (even the version I'm running now).
I'll let ya know how it goes.

I didn't have time to do an uninstall last night, but just for kicks, I went to see if the installer for v302 work work since I already have that version installed, and the v302 installer crashed also.  It looks like it is something with my OS.  I guess I'll just have to break down and re-install windows (again) and see if that helps.  I am more afraid of un-installing MJ than re-installing windows, since I won't be able to re-install MJ untill this stupid installer error is tracked down and squashed.  The funny thing is that I have had no problems with any other software installing, just MJ.
I guess I'll have to see if I can up to Win2000 Pro.
I couldn't find that thread on installing plug-ins that you had referred to.

It could be temp file space.  Use IE, do Tools/Internet Options and then Temporary Internet Files/Delete Files.  It could take a _long_ time (30 minutes even).  IE may look like it is frozen.
