I just imported about 20 dvd rips (VIDEO_TS) about 5 of them were named correctly from the containing folder but the rest were named VIDEO_TS. Is this a bug or did I do something wrong?

Are you using the 'Fill Properties from Filename' option in Library Tools context menu, if so using "[album]" will simply pick up the name of the parent directory, so if you have your video_ts folder within a movie folder (i.e. D:\300\VIDEO_TS\) you get video_ts rather than the movie name.

Try [album]\[album] for me it picks up both full dvd rips within their folder structure and encodes in single folders.

N.B. replace [album] with whatever [fieldname] you are using i.e. [name] etc etc.

no, I am just simply importing them with autoimport. Some of them show up with the correct name and some as VIDEO_TS.
