Media Server - Unique?
« on: June 26, 2002, 05:58:50 am »

Sitting here in the office listening to the server play my files from home. Wondering if any other program offers the flexibility of this feature, combining complete access to your library remotely and the ability to design your own playlists on the client side. Not that I'd ever migrate from MJ - just intellectual curiosity.

One of many things that distinguishes MJ. If I were shopping for a jukebox, this feature would jump off the page as a reason to buy MJ. I'm guessing JRiver doesn't stress it because of concerns about fair use, the RIAA, webcasting fees, etc.

In the dictionary, next to the word "astute", there is a picture of HTH.

"Astute" or "obtuse"? If that's not a homonym, it should be.
