What are ABC's ripping dvd to mc15 & converting to handheld (AVI WMV)?

My audio sync is spectacular but my video syncs only unplayable .ilo files to handheld? I've ripped dvd using action window but mc15 doesn't seem to have encoding for AVI or WMV. MC15 doesn't link any outside encoders yet. Am I missing something easy? What are the steps a novice needs to take? Thanks!
