Win 7
MC 15.0.58

Hi,

1) I am trying to install the MP3 encoder, when loading, I get following error message, the install cannot be completed:
Invalid package. Cannot continue.
File:
http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/redirects/MC/v15/redirect.pl?type=MP3e...Center?version=15.0.58

2) When I want to watch Videos, MC is always downloading a "necessary component" first, before a video is shown.

I even did a complete deinstall of MC, but the problem still persists.
What could it be? Thx

Try disabling anything that could interfere with downloads, like an internet security program.  This isn't a common problem.

For MP3, you could install manually by putting the files in the Media Center\Plugins folder from here:

That worked! Firewall was not the issue, but another program, which I had to deactivate - everything was installable now! :) Thx
