Problems with /mkv plaback

I installed DirectShow FilterPack 3.33 (I ran .bat file from command-line as administrator). i then went to the options section to set up parameters for video playback. I selected jriver video engine as playback method. I then looked for the Gabest mkv splitter but it doesn't appear in the list of source filters? Please help

I think it shows up as "MPC - Matroska Source".

However, "Haali Media Splitter" might work better if you want to display subtitles (either "muxed in mkv" or external subtitle files).
