MC 15 has got a problem for showing the albums.
Eks.
Columbia Country Classics Vol. 1 - The Nashville Sound by various artist
In this case the compleet album is to be showed as "one" album.

Columbia Country Classics Vol. 2 - History by Johnny Cash
Columbia Country Classics Vol. 2 - History by Tammy Wynette
Columbia Country Classics Vol. 2 - History by Hank Williams

Why may it bee like this.
In this case each one melody is to be showed as a separat album, so album 2 is to be showed as 20 albums.

Album 2 is ripped as one album, and saved in one map as well as the others.
Nearly all the artistmaps has one or more album being showed as this.

Earlier I used the same library in MC 12 without this.
Is it possibly a setting anywhere to change?

The problem of "splitting albums" is showed only in mode "Sort inside by Album)
The album-splitting is not a problem by switching ower to mode "Sort all files by album (removes grouping temporarily).

It seems like that the grouping split some of the albums.

If you want albums by various artists sorted by one album (instead of 20) try using the Album Artist field and sorting by that. MC should then sort the album as Multiple Artists and fix your problem.

No, sorry, but it does'nt.

I want MC to sort the albums alphabetic, sorted as complete albums.

I like the showing of cover art, so I hope it can be fixed.

Works for me - see below screenshot of compilation albums... the Album Artist (Auto) field is set to (Multiple Artists)



I remember once I had a similar problem - compilation albums were being ripped to folders based on artist, so I had 20 folders for 1 album and it showed that way in MC. If you make sure the tags are correct, you should be fine.

But I don't really understand why this problem exist.
It has never been nessesary to mark album artist earlier, but the sorting worked properly.

I want the sorting to be alphabetic even in grouping mode with cover art picture.
And show each album one by one as the earlier MC 12.

It should be a choice under the album-button.
