I have an Asus HDAV1.3 sound card fitted in my HTPC. I am using it's stereo analogue outputs to connect to my amp. For some reason the volume control in jriver doesn't change the volume. Also the volume control or mute in the Asus control centre don't work either. I've got WASAPI set in JRiver output mode and the HDAV1.3 speaker out is set as the audio device in the WASAPI settings.

I tried to play the same sound file in Total Media theatre 3 and it's volume control and the volume control in the Asus HDAV centre work as expected. How can I fix this anomaly to get the JRiver volume control to work?
