I ran across this little gem at the local electronics warehouse/jobber this morning.

This might be Just The Thing for people here with a house of twisted pair (cat5) that want/need to get into zones.

Not cheap at approx $400- each (!!!!), but it might be cheaper than tearing up a wall to string toslink cable.  Or running that toslink cable (with powered repeaters) across the property down to the lakeside gazebo, etc, etc.
