I haven't had a chance to check out everything with the new MJ 8, but i have a few questions about it so far...

(1) Where Did The "Party Mode" protection option go? It was awesome, does it still exsist? If So where do i find it?

(2) Under the Tree settings and am i able to remove some of the tree categories still... Like Web Media, Tv Tuner and such that i have not use for?

(3) Are all of the older plug in meant for MJ 7 work with MJ 8 as well?

1] View->arty Mode

2] Don't think so, but never tried it

3] depends on the plug in: Winamp input plug ins, handheld, remote controls  work with both. Visualizations and Encoders are uncompatibles. In general my impression is: , aside from winamp visualization, if there was a plugin in V7 there is an equivalent or you can still load the same in V8
