How to maintain folder names when syncing to a handheld?
« on: August 20, 2010, 08:51:53 am »

I have my files in the form of Artist -Album folders, i.e. Aerosmith - Get Your Wings

I am trying to sync various albums in my collection from MC15 to my handheld device which is an 8gb memory stick, which MC15 recognizes.

I simply want the folder names to copy over as they are, so when I look on my memory stick I see a folder called Aerosmith - Get Your Wings, naturally with the associated tracks inside.

No matter how I set it up in sync options I can't get this to happen, Could somebody please help me, I am going insane.

For the person that does help me, you will receive total enlightenment on your deathbed via the Dahli Lama, so you will have that going for you!  ;D

Tools > Options > Handheld
Select your handheld device
Expand the Files & Paths section
Click on the first option (audio path)
Fill in with this:    [Album Artist (auto)] - [Album]\

Many thanks, missing those brackets I guess was doing me in.

Works perfect now!
