Is there a "free and easy" way to fix bad ID3 tags?

MJ8 does it well and in mass. Select your songs and right-click anywhere on one then select "Properties" from the pull-down. Your selected songs will show up in a window and be selected (highlighted). Select the "Tools" button and all sorts of useful items will appear. My first step would be "Fill Properties From Filename". You'll then have several choices for the way that's to be done. Experiment. If any problems, check back or E-mail me.
