Corrupt file on download
(1/1)
Wheelerb52:
I previously posted this problem, but nobody replied. After installing Windows 7, MC14 said it was installed under a previous operating system, and needed to be reinstalled. I have no idea what the problem is, as I have repeatedly tried downloading and installing 14.0.165 but every time it starts to unpack, it gets to about 37% and then says "The file is corrupt" and will go no further. As well, I have a "remnant" of version 14 still showing in programs and on the all programs tree, but when I go to run the uninstaller, it gives me an error message. How can I force delete version 14 completely, so that I can reinstall it?
Your help is GREATLY appreciated.
JimH:
Try installing as administrator.
