Flash in the JRiver browser?
« on: September 16, 2010, 10:16:40 am »

I use theater view to access some streaming sites that rely on flash to serve content. Is there any way to enable flash in the JRiver browser? I currently have been using shortcuts to chrome and switches to achieve this in theater view.

Unfortunately, recently JRiver has been having problems opening Chrome (cannot start the application) when I try to access it from Theater View.

I hate IE with a passion, so I'm not qualified to answer your question. A wild guess would be if you can enable flash in IE (don't ask me how), you might expect it to work also in Theatre View.

But you might want to consider Adding streams to library. Using this technique, streams can be catalogued and managed just like any other media. Some flash sites have stumped me (it's necessary to somehow identify the actual stream), but it works in most cases.
