Hi - click on Media Library and then Select All / Properties more or less kills my system. Playback continues to the end of the song and then stops.

How many files?  It can take up to a couple of minutes per 1000 files...

What happens if you let it go for an outrageously long time?

Oh, and PeterE, we aim to please Next Page

Matt - 2600|PLS| files.

I can understand it taking a while - that's not the problem. (BTW: I'm using v2 tags.) I guess I didn't expect the player to completely stop at the end of the song that was playing. I'm sure this didn't happen previously but I don't do this often enough to be certain. The player window didn't update (progress slder etc.) during the data collection process although the little file counter updated every 30/50 files or so.

When the data collection process completed the File Properties opened and MJ sat there waiting but playback did not restart. Hitting Play took me back to the beginning of the song that was playing during the data colleciton process not the next one in Playing Now.

I then analysed replay gain on the files that were missing that (thanks for the bug fix!) and all appears to be normal.

Matt - seems to be easily repeatable. Interestingly Task Manager shows MJ consuming 45% of my cpu cycles with System Idle taking up the rest.

Thanks for the replay gain saving. The focus problem with full screen visualisations is still there though (http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/interact/NeoBoard.pl?Action=ShowPost&Board=inter&Post=10950&BoardIdle=7&SortingBy=0&BoardOrder=Descend&Page=3&UserSession=)
