Custom Resources "Fn" key
« on: October 13, 2010, 12:01:13 pm »

Is there any way to use a Fn key (between ctrl and windows key on the left side of the keyboard) in the custom resources script? I've tried using apps and fn, but neither apply.

Thanks!

Don't think so.
The Fn key is normally used on laptops & keyboards which don't have enough keys for the full layout, and it's basically a hardware switch to enable some of the main keys to perform as a different one.

It depends on the hardware implementation, but often Girder can filter and re-purpose Fn keypresses.

Got it working with Asus NB keys and some hex editing in conjunction with the MC15 command line. Is it 2010 yet? Geez...
