Thumbnails
« on: October 24, 2010, 09:27:52 pm »

I have inadvertently deleted some of my cover art, but in standard view they look like they are still there.but if I click on them one by one, then they disappear.

Is there a way to refresh the library so that it shows the missing files without testing one by one.

thanks

I believe the correct procedure is to select the files, then right click Cover Art\Rebuild Thumbnail.

I'm not an expert in this area so I suggest you try only a few to start to ensure you are getting the result you want.

Thank you for your help but the cover art is not there so it would just rebuilt thumbnails with something from inside the movie and not my art.

I just need to refresh them so that I can see which are missing.

Now I better understand your problem. In case you do not know, the field "Image File" contains a link to your external thumbnail. So you could filter on this and sort to help determine which are missing. I'm sure a smarter person on this board can give you a fancy expression to automate the whole thing.

That's the best idea, I believe.
