Sorry to bug you guys, looks like you have your hands full.  AWesome piece of software, btw.

The File Rename, Moves functions for some reason are applying WPM (Win Media Player) Network Srvcs Ownership to the files, with Read Only permissions.  Which prevents manipulation by my other File Managers, unless I change the permissions on the files.  I do have File Sharing disabled in Windows Media settings.

Right Click video thumb to select, Library Tools, Rename, Move & Copy Files.

The end result is read only folders, and Read Only permissions owned by WPM Network Srvcs.

I can move everything fine if I perform a permission change, or give WPM full permissions

I wonder if this has  anything to do with MC.
WPM Network Srvcs is the Win Media sharing (DLNA).
En/disable file sharing won't help you in this case.
Disabling media sharing probably won't make a difference either
WPM Network Srvcs reads the audio files and publish them to other DLNA compliant devices.
For security reasons this service should have read permission only.

Check the ownership of your audio files.
Normally the PC user is the owner and has the rights.
If not set the ownership to the PC User.

Ahhhh, nevermind.  It's not doing it now.  Audio files are fine with Rename, copy, move.  Video files take WPM ownership, and when it first happened, WPM permissions were read only.  I changed WPM to upgraded level, and all is fine. Thanks. Awesome software, btw.
