MC14.0.165 - Win 7 64bit - JrWorker.exe32 & Mediacenter14 taking CPU

Hi all,

I'm accessing all my music off an XP library server running MC14.0.165.

I recently did a clean install of Win7 64bit on my system and reloaded MC14.0.165 on it.
I normally dont have any music on this system as I use it for business purposes. I have another XP sytem that has all my music on it and is acting as  Library server.
when accessing  the library on the XP box  from my Win 7 64bit system,Jrworker.exe and Mediacenter14.exe will take up considerable amount of my CPU, getting increasinily worse, up to 90% of my cpu, and then I'll need to kill the application.

I didnt have this issue when this same box was running Vista 32 bit.

Has anyone run into this issue?
would upgrading to MC15 fix this issue?
Is there a 64bit MC client?

any help would be appreciated.
