Help, is it time for a Sound Card Upgrade?

Hello, I need some options on sound cards.

I'm currently using a Creative Audigy 2 card in my Windows XP media system/server. MC is configured with Output Mode:ASIO and Output Device:SB Audigy 2 24/96.

The line out is plugged into my home componet stereo.  

Would it be worth getting a Creative x-fi card for playing music? Would a x-fi card sound better?

And if its just for music, games are never played on the media system, does it matter which x-fi card is used (Extreme, Titanium, etc)?

Thoughts?

UPDATE:  Would upgrading from MC14 to MC15 make any difference in any of this.
