Saving DSP/EQ Setting to Track
« on: March 29, 2003, 07:28:03 am »

I've been trying to figure out if this is possible and can't seem to find anything that indicates that it is.  Anyway hoping someone can help me out either way:

Is there a way to save DSP/EQ settings to an individual track.  In other words everytime I play a specific song, MJ8 will recognize that the DSP/EQ settings should be whatever I pre-set for that track, instead of having to manually go in and change these setting for each song.

Thanks

This is something that I'm looking for too. It was possible in MJ 7 but I can't find this feature anymore. Is it still available or not?

I don't think it's EVER been possible. AFAIK, DSP settings have always been global (like a component graphic equalizer). With MC you can do some burning with DSP effects, but even it won't vary it's settings in response to a particular song (without user intervention) on playback.

I am pretty sure there was a feature like 'save settings to track' in version 7.2. It was available by right-click on equalizer.  ?
