question about buffering for video playback
« on: December 07, 2010, 09:44:32 pm »

Hi all,

Is there a setting available for how many seconds of video is buffered before playback starts? I know there is a similar option for audio playback under Options->Audio.

I would like to increase this timing as I have been noticing lately that playback often stutters or pauses for a few seconds when playing back a video file from a remote network drive (accessed via wireless network adapter).

Thanks,
Osho

I have the exact same problem playing back from a local drive. Yet the video plays fine in Windows Media. The sound is also completely out of sync, but not so with windows media.

What's up?
