Thanks, Matt. Because I have tons of playlists that I would like to place in multiple playlist groups, it would be truly fantastic if I didn't have to retype the playlist name when I made copies of the playlists from one group to another.
Right now, MJ seems very close to being able to do this. If you right click on a playlist, click on "Send To", select "Playlist", then select "Create/Select Playlist...", a dialogue box comes up with a blank "Name" field for the as-yet-to-be copied playlist. Making an exact copy of the playlist in another playlist group is easy enough by selecting the destination playlist group path from the "Path" drop down box, then typing the original name of the playlist in the "Name" box. However, were this name field to be filled in by default with the name of the playlist being copied (and selected to make it easy to type in a different name), then playlists could be copied from one playlist group to another without having to retype the name of the playlist (and without significantly disturbing the functionality and operation of the current scheme).
I'm sure I haven't considered the downsides and difficulty of making this change, but it sure would be a tremendous help to me in organizing and displaying my collection. I'd be glad to copy this over to a wish-list.
Thanks for the help and consideration.
